Compare your DD, Sara-Ann, to mine in the middle, bottom of today's cut (below), and you can appreciate my envy. Mine could use more sun but I guessing my wife and neighbor would object if I cut down the the two spruce that block out some afternoon sun. The neighbor owns one of them. (Sigh) ;)

Love the DD and the Peace. I have both but my Peace is rather sickly with BS and my DD is a pale shadow of yours. At first I thought I was looking at Love & Peace, your DD is so vibrant. Both of mine are only 2-years old so I still have hope.

Thank you everyone! DD is my personal favorite in this group too! The blooms haven't had much red this season, and this one was just right. My DD gets plenty of sunlight. We've had over ten inches of rain in July, maybe that has something to do with it! Al, the Double Delights in your bouquet are more like what most of mine have looked like this season. Judy, April, and Dianne I'm lovin' Easy Does It, and I agree April, I love that ruffly look too. Mine is looking very promising. RdV has a fairly big spring flush, then sets on blooms all season long, love it! In all truthfulness, those blooms weren't that purple, I must have had just the right angle when I took the picture. The spring flush blooms are the prettiest. Carol, Belinda's Dream is such a good rose for me, love it!

Thanks again! Carol, yes the blooms on BD can get fairly large, especially in the spring and fall here. Kentucky, I sure do enjoy your roses!
