Could be 'Glowing Embers', which is a relatively color stable dark pink bloomer, as well as being pretty widely available. And it IS considered a traditional mophead bigleaf, in that it flowers only on old wood.

Your plant looks exactly like my Merrit's Supreme on alkaline soil. The variety has unusually thick leaves, but more importantly those bizarre pointy serrations on the leaf edges. Your flower heads are smaller and less full than I expect for a Supreme, but your plant is still small. They sell this plant frequently in the PNW nurserys out our way. I have both Glowing Embers and Leuchtfuerer too. Based on your leaves, it is neither of these.

I would not discount Glowing Embers just based on foliage. It too can produce rather pronouncedly serrated leaves - see here.

Leaf margin of my Merritt's Supreme is just like yours, elongated point on end and largish odd-sized serrations for the first 1/5 of the margin. My most similar leaf margin shspe out of ~40 hydrangea types that we have is Merritt's Beauty. However, the leaves are broader in the middle than this.
