My daconil must be mixed with water at the proper rate. Did you do this? It should be milky....not thick.

No - this was ready to use (RTU). Hmmm.... May still rinse.

The ready-to-use has to be shaken really well before using. It says that in all caps on the label. It settles and separates in the container. Plus this assumes it has been properly stored before sale rather than being old stock that has been exposed to heat and cold.

Rinse it off, let the leaves dry, shake it well, spray once off into the air to see if misting properly, if not shake some more, then spray the plant.

If you still have problems try soaking the sprayer in hot water. Not boiling hot, hot as in from the hot water tap hot. Caked up product may make it hard to spray otherwise.

Well I picked up a bottle of copper fungicide today. I did shake it a bunch but perhaps not enough. I will try the soaking in warm water next time. Thanks for the suggestion.

Poor plants got dowsed rinsed then a spray of foetid garlic egg deer repellent tonight. The deer walked right by hosta and daylilies to get to my broccoli peas and beet greens. Grrrr....

I never buy the ready to use. They are not economical. The concentrates last a long time. About 2 tsp per gallon , does it. I have 3 kinds,NEEM, Daconil and LiQUI - COP.

I did use one ready-to-use bottle of Daconil while I was in Fla. As I recall, the nozzle has 2 positions, one stream and one spray, that are opposite each other. Try turning the nozzle 180 degrees to see if a finer spray comes out (after shaking well!).
