Yellowing monstera

Hey,

The smaller leaves of my monstera are yellow and I'm not sure whether it's from under or over watering.

I recently re potted it and gave it a good watering but it still seems like it needs water a lot of the time. Could this be because it's in a south facing window?

How often do you water and what type of soil did you use?

I vote it's a drainage problem. The mix looks quite peaty; am guessing it APPEARS dry on top & is likely still too wet down below.

I had a monstera that size, and during that time, I would water it, then it would be a long time before I needed to water again (compared to other plants). I agree with lmonstestella. So stick your finger in the soil to make sure it really needs it before you water.

But all of a sudden my monstera took off and started growing like crazy.......NOW it needs more water. Lol.
