Should be fairly easy since 12mm is a better laminate and "matte" is a fashionable finish right now. Be aware that matte will show foot prints (skin oils are a "satin" = shinier than matte). You can work with an embossed finish (has a wood-like texture) which will help with "grip".

Your budget suggest you are willing to work with a higher level laminate which means you have a VERY good chance at getting what you want. A $3/sf 12mm laminate is at the top end of the range.

Please do not use laminate in the kitchen. The life span in a kitchen is 3-7 years at most. If you insist on using it in a kitchen, please purchase enough flooring to install this TWICE. You will be glad you did when you need a full kitchen replacement 5 years from now.

Man-made floors have a shelf life of about 18 months. That means you won't find replacements 2 years from now. So make sure your purchase has enough waste or overage to repair the kitchen...in it's entirety. That's the SECOND best way to install a laminate in a kitchen. The best way is to choose something else for the kitchen.

Good luck. Your budget and your expectations are completely realistic (wow...how many times have you seen THAT statement posted on Houzz?) and you should be able to get a beautiful, well constructed laminate in the look that you want.

Ummm, I have matte finished gray laminate flooring thruout my condo.I really liked it at first but now it just looks spotty.Yes, foot print are seen even though i just finish washing with vinegar & my socks foot pads collect this matte finish & doesn't wash out.I paid a very good price for it & now i wish I'd gone for a semi finish instead. Be careful when you buy>

Sprayway glass cleaner and some (A LOT) elbow grease will do what you are wanting.
