Where in the world are you? Since some insect species are found in certain places that information would be of much help. If you are in the United States you can take some of these insects, sealed in a plastic bag, to the local office of your state universities Cooperative Extension Service for identification.

I live in toronto canada. I see them sitting sporadically on leaves of plants but most of them were on wall of backyard. They were there in 2 big clusters just like ants gathered on some food.

Your other thread with same inquiry, shows a leaf with chewing damage.

The 6-lgged fellows in the images didn't do it.
