That is a very special plant. The blooms are so nice, but The caused on it is something else. The look of the skin/bark on it is unique.

Self watering planter sound a little risky for my. You will have to tell later if they work without getting the roots to wet. Th Lechuza's 'pon sounds interesting. We all play with our soil mix .

yes, i add the pon to my mix. self watering, there is a drain plug in the bottom you can remove. that way you can just leave it on the deck and let it flow thru. been in this pot for over a year.
