There is something, for the past two years, that is slicing off our Lycoris (Surprise Lilies) about a foot from the ground. Every morning we are finding 4-5 long stemmed, blooming lilies lying on the ground. Nothing seems to be eaten or chewed on. We live about 500' from the street in a fenced, partially area. No deer. We do have rabbits, but can't see them reaching that high just to slice the stem in two. We have squirrels and an occasional raccoon and possum. We can not figure this out.
