Pepper ID Help

Yah, another Pepper ID thread.

I grew two Carolina Reaper plants last year. Both plants grew true and produced some beautiful Reaper pods. Along side them I grew other varieties. Most notably, a Yellow 7pot Brainstrain, A yellow Bhut Jolokia and a Red Habanero. I took seed from the pods produced by the two Reaper plants and grew them out this year. In every way I can think of, they look perfectly like traditional Reaper plants. However, the pods look way more Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Pepper) like. The tails on several of the pods do have a hint of the Reaper tail, but otherwise show little resemblance to the Carolina Reaper. Are they hot. Hell yes, but since I cannot really distinguish heat differences in peppers that high, I have no idea if it is 1 million scoville or two million scoville.

So, does anyone have any ideas what I have here? A cross from last year? Seeds that just happen to have recessive traits showing from a strain of pepper that isn't quite stable yet? Or, I just had a brain malfunction and mixed up some seed somewhere along the line?
