Is it an arabicum

It would be classified as a Thai Soco Hybrid or some would say Arabicum, but it is not of a great concern to myself.

The roots look great most people prefer the blooms I like the roots

I do love the blooms very much, but the root systems and Caudex of these trees are so impressive, they do not need the blooms to give a show.

They do look beautiful w blooms also, just not the colors of the Obesums.

Everybody loves the hybrids haha and I should know all of mine are grafted plants but I can't seem to find any that are not as I only see the plants at one store and they are all grafted

Age, I am not aware of, but it is only relavent to where they are grown. It all changes when they come here.

I have been guessing the age of tree's to see what size they might be at a certain age. As you said it is relative where they are growing now.

Good to make yourself aware of these things, Marica. Gives a good appraisal of age when looking at them in Thailand. A worthy effort, I think. I just have not made the effort. Lazy.

Bragu, this one is in a 15" pot.

The leaves seem so much larger then other Dino's

They could very well be a bit larger and will watch. May need to cut them back.

Getting prepared to do some cutting of bases of some Arabiums/Thai Soco hybrids for centipede roots. Dino has been kind enough to help me with this.

We will see.
