Hi there! You can do either style of sink, but as far as holes, we really like you to make the cut because each bathroom has different plumbing and if we pre-cut, sometimes it won’t work with your plumbing. It is much easier to have you do it on your end to make sure everything is accurate. It is also hard for us because we cannot physically see your bathroom to ensure things align. We would hate to even be a fraction off because it could cause a giant mess on your end. Does that make sense?

Hi Cathy! The price is the same with or without the top so what we can do instead is ship it unattached if you'd like to keep it :)

Do the center drawers allow for plumbing or would they have to be modified as well?

Hey there,

We would recommend a vessel sink at a 32" height vanity. However if you wanted to do a drop in, you would need to make the top drawer false to accommodate the sink and the plumbing. Although we accommodate these needs, unfortunately the Houzz platform doesn't allow for any customization's, they are still working on getting this added.
