I need advice….I bought my fig last week, I kept it in the original black pot for the week and it did great. I bought a new pot that unfortunately had a narrower top than I expected ( larger middle diameter). I repotted my plant, but it took some removing of the dirt and loosening up the roots so I could get it in ( it was not a pretty process lol). I am 100% sure I shocked my plant, the bottom leaves are doing o.k but the top seem to be droopy and looking like they could fall. I haven’t watered it since I bought it because every where I read says to leave it alone. Any suggestions on how to get it through this “shock period”. Is there a good chance I have put it on the path to dying? Unfortunately the repotting process was not as simple as just putting it into a new pot, like I said I had to remove some dirt and separate the roots to get it in ( It was an expensive pot that I couldn’t return and I thought I could get it in). I don’t think I actually removed any of the roots but I def caused some trauma re potting. Is the best thing to do just leave it in indirect light and leave it alone? Or should I water it since I haven’t since I brought it home? The new soil itself was pretty moist so I wanted to be cautious. I am not sure if the drooping is due to not watering, or the trauma of repotting.
