Beadboard Trim

I love the trim work you used on the beadboard. Could you tell me how high it goes up the wall and the size of the baseboard and the top trim. A very classy treatment!

What is the ceiling height, and would you reduce the height of the beadboard for 8' ceilings?

10 ft and yes, lower the beadboard to match.

Have you just used a standard 1x4 ripped down to 3" for the trim, or is what you've used thinner than a 1x4? Thanks! I'm looking for a simple way to trim out beadboard, windows and doors.

Hello. I am doing a small bathroom with beadboard on the lower section. It has 8 foot ceilings. Being that it is new construction, I am not sure how to do the beadboard and drywall. At present it is insulated and vapor barriered. Should I do the entire room in drywall and then add the 1/4 inch beadboard on top of the bottom portion? Or should I do 5/8 beadboard on the bottom and butt it up to 5/8 drywall on top? I am worried about how to handle it when it comes to the door and window. In this pic, I assume it is 1/4 inch on top of drywall. If so, was the base installed first, then the beadboard butted up to the top of the base and then the top board butted up to the top of the beadboard?
