Hi, please can anyone help in advising what light bulb is best for small indoor tropical dwarf trees such as oranges, figs etc.?
The most I can gather is full spectrum daylight flourescent is the best choice, incandescent bad, though I have no idea about the new LEDs..... and I'm still not quite understanding the K value in relation to "good" (as in, is a 6500K daylight bulb far preferable to a 1000K. Or is this nonsense.)

My inclination is to think that the higher this number is, the better, and that flood lights are better as they direct the light 'stream'.
Also please.... if your answer is negativity, pronouncements of doom, advice not to do it, etc etc please don't waste your time replying. I'm not here to be told to give up I'm trying to find answers.
