Whenever you post your pics there are always a few that I have to look up. This time its BROKAT! I found one vendor in Germany who has it but I have ordered from them before and was not at all happy with the quality of the roses - pity!! The colour is amazing!!

Merciful lands woman!! You've got some beauties for sure!! But that heat sounds terrible! We've hit high 90s since June but I don't think we've hit the triple digits yet and hopefully won't!!

This is Morticia and Griselda. Morticia's sister Elvira is going to be the Alpha hen. The two of them are 15weeks old this week. Griselda and 3 of the other chickens are a week older, but their combs and wattles haven't matured to the point that theirs have. When they turn bright red, they should be ready to lay their first eggs. Could be any day! Can't wait!

Crap. While deadheading out there yesterday, I discovered that the rose I showed here as MOONLIGHT MAGIC, is in fact TWICE IN A BLUE MOON! I have the roses in that bed planted a little too close together. I knew that bloom was just too perfect for MM. Sorry about that!
