I am struggling to find the right paint color for our kitchen walls, any suggestions are appreciated! Our painter is using BM, so any and all BM suggestions are easier :)

Our floor tile is a dark gray slate (looks much darker in this photo than in real life), Quartz countertops are Carrara Grigio from Q Stone from MSI, subway tile backsplash is daltile rittenhouse square desert gray and the trim and cabinets are being painted White Dove.

Just not sure what to do on the walls! I do want some color, but I don't want it to be too matchy with the backsplash. I originally chose "classic gray" but it looked almost off white in the space. Not opposed to using it, but would love other suggestions.

nearby rooms will be painted Stonington Gray (living/dining room) and Quiet moments (office)

Kitchen is about 12x13 and does not have the best natural light. We have added some great pendants over the sink and recessed lights so that should help bring light in.
