No replies? I guess I'll take a stab at this. I don't own a passion fruit vine, though I'm interested in growing one. I'm in zone 6 so it'll be most likely indoors. I'm still trying to figure this out.

From what I've read, you will need to shelter your p. edulis against wind and frost conditions and make sure the soil doesn't freeze over. The vine will most likely die back, but will regrow in the spring with help of fertilizer. I think you'll have to erect some type of protection over the container and find ways of keeping the plant frost-free.

Here's a thread that contains posts about growing in zone 7. Read the posts from trianglejohn who was pretty helpful.
