We are doing a full remodel including refinishing floors and stair railings. As we think about floor stain, paint, furniture we are struggling with whether or not we should be matching existing cherry trim stain which is throughout main floor (floors, railings, trim and window frames, etc.) I think we would prefer a deeper darker stain with less red/cherry undertone but not sure how this would contrast with existing trim. I have attached pics of existing for reference.
