clematis novice

Although I've had 3 clematis for years, I consider myself a complete novice. I think one is "Ramona" and another is "Sugar Candy". Have no idea on the 3rd one. It is more mounding than climbing.

Anyway, they all bloom for a couple or 3 weeks in spring and then nothing more. I did get Ramona to bloom a little longer by giving extra water and fertilizer.

Is there a clematis that would bloom all spring and into the summer? Or all summer and into fall?

Mine are all in full blazing sun and summer temps here are high 80's to mid 90's. I have no place to plant one that would get morning sun and afternoon shade. I do have morning shade and afternoon sun but I think that is not what most plants want.
