Does water or toothpaste damage the top?

The vanity is finished in a hand rubbed paste wax which protects the wood. All of our pieces are water resistant.

If this was a solid top can top sinks be installed? which means the only cut outs would be the for faucet and the drain of the sink?

Hi there! This is a solid wood top. You can install 2 vessel sinks , and have the holes for 1 sink on left and right cut out as well as the faucets holes! We do carry copper sinks that will compliment this reclaimed wood vanity beautifully! I have added a link for you!
