Unknown LARGE alian plant. Help~~

This plant seed came in a bag of purchased organic compost and I've watched it grow since early May. I have never seen it here in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is about 7 ft high and just beginning to sprout little probe looking (pencil size)

It looks like Ambrosia trifida - Giant Ragweed. In the pic it is difficult to see if the leaves are trilobed or 3 separate leaves.

That is Ambrosia trifida, the extra lobes develop as the plant matures. You can pull it, dig it out or cut it down. You do not want the flowers to develop even if you do not have allergies since they will spread by seeds as you discovered.
