Need recommendation for a rug that's similar to this...

My husband and I saw this rug at Marshall/Homegoods store for $399. We didn't act on it right away. After thinking about it for a few days, by the time we went back to the store to buy this rug, it was already gone. I talked to staffs working at Marshall, and they don't have a computer system that tracks items availability in other Homegoods/Marshall stores.This rug is 80% wool and 20% by "Home Inspired by India" company.

Now that we cannot have the rug, I think about it more. almost becoming an obsession.... I have browsed through many sites looking through thousands of rug pictures (including overstock, wayfair, macy's, Nordstrom) just can't find the same rug.

I am hoping that someone would recommend a similar rug, so i can take my mind off this rug! We want the size to be 8X10 (or larger), and this is for our living room. Our budget is under $700.

Not wool...all cotton, might not be close enough..it's hard to tell the scale of the pattern from your pic

Olychick - you are GOOD!!! I wonder if a rug like that will stay in place well if it's anchored by furniture and what if any type of pad would be appropriate.

I think if you have the right kind of pad, something non-skid, it would probably be fine. But I know my cotton rugs don't stay in place like the oriental wool ones do, just because they are so much more flimsy.

I found quite a few in the herringbone pattern made from jute - they might be more easy to keep in place.
