I am not a fan of painted brick. You are better off staining brick as it then does not require continual maintenance. First, the shutters look ridiculous, take them off. I think the brick needs to be darker to ground the home and that is where staining can come in handy. If it were me, I'd stain the brick, take down the shutters and then step back and look at what you have. You can stain the brick any number of colors, so pick what you like, but go darker.
