The guest I was waiting for...

Hello gardening friends.

the butterfly bush that I inherited with our new house started blooming last month. I don't know what variety this one is.

Ever since it started blooming I was waiting to see the butterflies. Was not lucky so far as the timings simply did not coincide I guess. Finally I have been rewarded. I got a visit from a beautiful black swallowtail exactly when I was looking at the bush. Couldn't wait to share the joy

    I am thrilled to say late in the afternoon I got another visitor...this time a tiger swallowtail. Double treat in a single day...Can hardly contain my excitement
