I can't tell what color your grout is... Maybe a color that matches it if it is gray/light blue?

It's white unfortunately...all white and blue....

A light grey paint and a new vanity fixture would make a huge impact.

I like white and blue:) I would probably try a much lighter tint of blue - maybe close to the lighter swirls of blue in the floor.

There is no need to match the blue floors...blue can be your accent color...walls can be beige...like in the rug...or pale gray for a more contemporary feel...a pale green if you like the watery colors...appropriate in the bath...

I would have fun and paint it a bold color; chartreuse, Canary yellow, deep Orange, etc. But if bold is not your thing then these colors seem to be the top trend colors now; white, grey, pale watery blue or variations of those colors from lightest to darkest. Do you have a design criteria ie, transiional, modern, country, farmhouse?

Thanks Soosun2. I like bold, but feel the floor is already 'too' blue...I feel i'd go for the light grey as suggested. I would like to have a more 'stylish' bathroom that it is now..modern, sleek, convenient..

There really is something crisp and charming as it is...
depending on your style ....may be you only need to add some decor touches and build on the rug colors by adding a little beige pinstripe over the blue paint... Get some fabric to hang at ends of shower area like drapes ..to frame and soften the shower area...I like the light fixture and wouldnt bother with new shower fixtures unless you buy over the top cool ones....it all seems just a little sterile right now..but has great promise with the right finishing touches...see attatched photo to describe drapery effect....not your style just the idea that adds another dimension

I'll recommend try changing the blue to a white or a grey and you can try painting the cabinets in a grey and change the vanity fixtures if you want and try adding pop of color anywhere you want

What about an aqua or teal blue? That would be pretty! Add some pretty towels and accessories in whatever color you choose. They will help add pretty color to the bathroom!
