Yellow is one of my favorites, but you would never know by looking at my fabric stash! Your two quilts are beautiful, I'm partial to the Alletaire- just love it!

I have no yellow clothing now, but remember that my mother liked it and I had lots of yellow growing up. I do have some in my collections and have used it in quilts for others. Funny how our colour tastes change.

They are both very pretty. I love yellow, but don't have any in my house. Never think of decorating with it, but have it in my garden. I remember a yellow dress I made in eighth grade. It had some sort rectangle piece in the front and I sewed daisies around it. I always felt happy in that dress.

They are both lovely! I like yellow, too.

We are so funny about colors, aren't we?? I love both of those quilts, and the colors! To me, yellow is a very, very happy color but I cannot wear it.

I was told by an old quilter once, to look at my stash and see what colors I don't have..then make a quilt with that color. It really opened my eyes. We should all try something out of our comfort zone...it expands our vision. My color was blue! Everybody has blues in their stash, right? Not me...only a few...so I made a blue and white quilt..I just love it, and it's so much easier for me to "think" blue when thinking of quilting colors now.
