hi! My husband and I are having a debate on what to do with our 3 season porch- originally I was going to paint the floors, step up (goes to the garage) and the stairs (goes to our mudroom). We aren't able to get all the mastic glue off the stairs or step up. If we have all carpet we are worried our cats will be pee in the same corner they were from the old carpet.

So would it be odd to have those two carpeted and still the paint the floor? Or should we just carpet the whole room??
