Looking for suggestions to reface, possibly replace large fireplace in our L- shaped livingroom/dining room. It is in between the 2 and not centred on either. To date I have decorated around it. The house is mid 50's ranch, we are going for a mcm trending towards transitional look.

The wall between kitchen and d/r will be coming down soon with the kitchen Reno and therefore the fp will become more of a focal point from the eat in kitchen island.
