No photo. Just a plain house, one story, carport on right side. Front porch, narrow covering 1/2 of the house.

Really need a picture to give any meaningful feedback. But off the top of my head, I think it is a bit absurd to take a basic ranch and try to make it look French, whatever that means to you.

Yes, it's too difficult to say without a visual. You might as well grab some pre-done cards at the hardware store.
