My 'Ruby Moon' Hyacinth Bean plants are starting to climb the 6' trellis I set out for them. I thought I was in good shape until I read that a single Hyacinth Bean plant (like any flowering vine, I guess) really needs 10-15' of solid support. How can I provide additional support to these two plants? I have another unused 6' trellis the same as this which I could put next to the original, and then I could hopefully start training some stems to climb the second trellis rather than the first, but how would that all work? By temperament vines want to grow vertically and I know we can train them somewhat to grow laterally, but I'm having a hard time envisioning a strategy here. Below (it's hard to see with the morning glory behind), but there are three stems climbing the trellis: one on the rightmost bar, one third from the right, and one on the leftmost. Thanks for any help.
