Hello Brandy Steward, This is a complete bed the only thing it doesn't include is the mattress but you get the following:

headboard, foot-board, rails and roll slats (no box spring is needed) also there are little lights in the cut-outs in the headboard to bring attention to your decorations. Thank you!
