I do not see the layout you said was posted.

You really do not want to put a fridge next to a heat producing stove unless you want the fridge to run a lot more than necessary, raise your electrical bills and wear out sooner. Also, you need at least 16" of countertop space on each side of the stove.

As far as having the fridge in the dining room goes, if you can use 2"x2" framing and a plywood panel to create a wall on the exposed side, it would be less obvious having it beside rather than within the kitchen itself.

My thinking is that building storage that you could leave in the dining room in order to take out some kitchen cabinets to make room for the fridge to be placed within the kitchen -- would likely be more convenient/practical for food prep purposes.

Since digital tv became the norm, those wide, deep cabinets that once held tvs are being donated to places like Habitat for Humanity Restore Store, Good Will, and church run thrift stores at bargain prices -- or sold in "antique" used furniture stores, usually for less than other storage cabinets might cost. Adapting one of these for kitchen/dining storage -- adding a solid plywood back and changing out the interior shelving to meet your storage needs and adding wheels -- and placing it in the dining room instead of the refrigerator is something worth considering.

Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately my diagram does not see to want to upload. The fridge won't be next to the oven, there is at least 36" from oven to purposed new location in dinning room. By placing it there I don't have to remove any existing cabinets and I will gain much needed counter/storage space where fridge is currently located.
