Hi, so I've gotten a lot of solid advice on the usual of sanding and oiling and get out stains. Now I'm wondering... as it's not advised to directly place small appliances that will got hot, such as toasters, what do you put underneath the appliance to protect the counter?? My kitchen is very small so there is zero option for relocation.

(Also, we already have something for our dishwasher planned, so this is already covered.)
