    While it does look a bit like a stone cladding in some of these photos, the gray siding is actually a product called "Cembonit", which I believe now goes by the name "SIL-LEED" - it's a type of fiber cement panel.

    No problem! Fiber cement panels are a popular siding right now. They can look cheap or surprisingly nice depending on how you compose and detail them. Best of luck with your update!
