This reminds me of a hotel in Munich we stayed at, which had the glass wall. It's very interesting. I love your chandelier. I think a tall wooden headboard would look great with your beams in the ceiling. If you want softness, look for a tall upholstered headboard. The rich purple would be beautiful, either as a velvet headboard with white bedding or on the bedding itself. A white flokati rug would be perfect next to the bed.

Hello Patricia thank you for your immediate reply as well as your great ideas. I totally understand about the toilet being next to the bed, there is however a 10mm glass wall separating the rooms as well as an extractor installed in the shower room. If I were to start working on the ensuite now, then I would definitely hide the toilet. However now it's a bit late as we already spent a lot of money on the glass wall. We do however have an option just in case later on my husband and I feel we need privacy, and that's to cover the middle horizontal section of the glass from wall to wall with opaque stick on band (sorry don't know the name.
As for the house, it's a very old rustic house in Malta, Europe. The room next to it, where the door is, is where the kitchen will be. We were lucky enough to find an old well buried underground which is about 400 years old. Will attach photos for you to see. The door to the left on the photos is the one that leads into the bedroom. Well that explains rhat I think it would be a good idea to add the frosted piece where the toilet can be seen it might even add a little something to the design. It is a very beautiful house we are hoping to move to italy sometime in the next few yrs hopefully we will have the luck to find something great too.

@Calidesign. Thank you for your comment and suggestions. Much appreciated. I got the chandelier from an antique shop out here even though it's only about 20-30 years old according to the guy that sold it to me. I think @ €60 (including the 6 bulbs) it was quite a bargain!
I did look at a bed with high purple upholstered headboard and I loved it so I probably go for it. Do you think I should leave the space on top empty or shall I still look for a frame? Thanks again.
