Describe the bloom, please. Est. number of petals, size, form, fragrance, color of "pink".

You really need to wait until it blooms again and repost with better pictures. Buds, blooms in all stages the leaves, thorns and entire plant are all helpful.

I know. But if it doesn't bloom by next spring after years of coddling, it is getting shovel pruned. I've started other roses from very small plants and they've always done something by the time they are this size.

Seil and Lucille are right, there's no possible way to identify without more information. However, the long, narrow leaves make me think of Cecile Brunner, a repeat blooming polyantha climber with small pink blooms. It is also called The Sweetheart Rose.

I'd love it if it were CB!. So I moved it around ten feet over so it could throw those longer canes without being in the way. I'll give it another couple years. Thanks!

Lucille, I hope you will post pictures when it blooms, maybe next spring if not before. I see you are in a zone where it could still bloom this year. How wonderful to live where roses bloom more than 4 months!

Foliage is not 'Brunner', flat topped bud doesn't fit either.

After I moved it I don't think it will bloom soon, but it is in a place it can grow undisturbed for a while. I'll post pictures if it does bloom.

Flowersaremusic, it is wonderful to be in a place where flowers can bloom most of the year, but many of the roses don't bloom well here in July/August, it is just too hot.
