Cracking on Bottom of Heirloom Tomato

I'm not positive on the kind of tomato, but I'm thinking Brandywine from what the fruit looks like. Not 100% positive though. I'm wondering what is going on with this tomato and if it is ok to still consume. Photo attached. I live in Denver, Colorado and we have had a very dry summer with a wet (for Colorado) spring. I just harvested this tomato the other day am and not sure on what type of tomato it is, but I'm guessing it is a Brandywine. Any thoughts on what is going on or what I can do here to save future tomatoes would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
