Will these figs ripen?

I live in zone 7 on Long Island NY. These were sold to me as a black variety fig. This is the first season they have made figs, I bought the trees last year and they were young then. Will these ripen? The last pic is supposed to be a white variety.

    In your zone you probably have two months at least before frost threatens, so you should see ripe fruit. Make sure there is sufficient soil moisture and the plants are adequately fed.

    Black varieties may not turn black until approaching ripeness; at least that's my experience with "Petite Negra".
