Thank you for your question. This particular floor is an Engineered Vertical Grain Carbonized Bamboo. We have had great success in the Boise area with the bamboo flooring that we sell. We would recommend the engineered over the solid as it is more stable in our environment. You need to make sure you purchase a good quality bamboo flooring such as The Allwood Brand.
