Do you know the ceiling height? Guessing maybe these are 33" high cabinet? I'm working on 8' ceiling kitchen and trying to keep enough space below cabinet for balance. Thanks.

    ceiling height is 8' in this home. the cabinets are 36" with filler then crown.

    I really wish you could help with my kitchen. Looking all over for a local designer and thinking the layout in this photo may be the way I go. I'll have to create pantry storage in dining area and blend the opening that faces the front door, but I think it will give a better overall open feeling to our older home.

    Seriously needs BROWN outlets in the island....white sticks out badly. And I would have raised the outlets on the backsplash and put them under the cabinets - out of sight. Much cleaner lines that way. Otherwise very nice....

    yup agree. some things just don't get worked out with contractors until the end. i think we changed that outlet on the island.
