Question about a bug.

I don't know where to ask about bugs on these forums.
I found this bug on my tomatoes. I was wondering what it is, exactly, and if it is a pest or not. Sorry I couldn't get that great of shot of it.
The bug is mostly green.
I live in Utah.

Addendum: It looks like this may be a green stink bug. Is that the case? I don't want to kill it if it's not.
