Dining room light

We would like to know what G9 bulbs are. Are they LED lights? Also, I understand the light we are interested in comes with 3 different length rods. We have a slight cathedral ceiling and are wondering if the rods can be cut to accommodate the change in heights? I have been trying to find a telephone number for customer service and can not. Do you have a number so I can speak to someone direct?
