Hello. I am in the early stages of planning a lawn and sprinkler system for our backyard. The dimensions will be 33x30. My first concern is hooking up to my water supply. This is what I have to work with.

I know that this type of water faucet has a valve somewhere towards the bottom that prevents freezing as I live in the Nevada desert. I am asking for advice on how to connect my sprinkler valves to this type of supply. Also, being that we do have some freezing here and some snow do I need special valves? I have put in a few of these systems before but they were always in California. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Im sure this is just the start for me. Thanks.
