It is Cambria Torquay, yes. The picture makes it appear beige, but it's definitely white!

Maybe try Caesarstone Bianco Drift?

I have the torquay installed in the basement in the bar area. It has some beige in it, but it can go with gray and creams very well. Since you have both, I think it will go well.

None of the above. The floor dictates far more warmth and simplicity. I'd even consider a soft white shaker cabinet. And a warmer/plainer counter top as well, no matter the cabinet color. Grays and beige can be lovely......keep it simple, the flooring is busy.

LG Viatera Minuet or White Pearl
Pental Serra, Safari or maybe Tobacco? You might also like Statuaria in the Pental. It is lovely with some brown tones, but it is more expensive than everything else I've listed.

There is a color called Vortium from Zodiaq. Check that out! It compliments nicely with warms and grays. Best wishes with your project!

Thank you all for the comments and advice! I'll be checking out more slabs tomorrow(Berwyn in particular) but we are considering ripping up the tile and laying down hardwood to match what's in the living room and hallway. I believe they're cherry wood, which would also be warm, but also much more attractive. Considering this change, I am still attracted to Torquay. Thoughts?

I love the combination of the cabinet with the counter! As for the floor, I like cherry, We have Tiete rosewood, which is a deep salmon color,so close to what you have..In the basement we installed Coretec black walnut, walnut cabinets and torquay counter..Still have to find tile for backsplash

What a pretty idea to install deep cherry hardwood in the kithchen in place of your existing tile. We think the warm tones of the wood floors would contrast well with the dove grey cabinets and a lighter cabinet such as Torquay. In addition to Berwyn, you could also consider Ella for a light countertop option. Update - it looks like the retailer doesn't carry our wood floors anymore. So, looking for alternatives, I was playing around with Paint today. What if I were to lighten the grout in the tile?

The picture captures Cambria Torquay alongside our gray cabinets. I left one grout line dark to see the difference.

P.S. I will remove the mats, for sure.

hmmm, if you considered ripping out floor for hardwood, maybe pick a tile that goes with cabinets and counter?

Don't feel defeated. :o) You found a counter you love, and believe me, that is the hardest part. (BTW, I love the Torquay). If you don't love the tile, I say remove it, so you don't regret leaving it when you look at your beautiful new kitchen. Good luck!!

No, no. Just a bump in the road. Take a small break to let your mind rest and recharge. :) I do agree that you definitely should not work around a tile floor you think is ugly. New tile, different brand wood flooring, different underlayment, the answer is out there but your current tile is not it. Forward!
