Help furnishing a rectangular living room

Hello!

We are getting to move into our first home (yay!) but are absolutely stumped about decorating our living room. It's 18ft x 11ft and has a regular entrance on the narrow wall and has an oversized entrance into the dining room. along the longer side. Opposite of the dining room entrance, there are beautiful large windows.

I'm not sure if we should get a regular couch and a few chairs, or how to pull this off. Ideally, we'd like a TV in there but are open. So I'm hoping someone can help a girl out :) Thank you!!!!!

Which direction does the window face?

Is there a fixed fireplace in there?

Can you post photos of the room, and any furniture/furnishings/artworks you already have to use?

Absolutely- here's a jist of the room, including the size of the opening into the dining room! Sorry for the lack of pictures, we're not in the house just yet. No fireplace or anything like that! Thank you for your help!!!!
