Oh thank you so much! You guys are just great. Popmama, and tomatoz, and aloha, and Marj, and Liz, and Chloe, your prayers and good thoughts are all I need! It's times like this when they matter most.

From diagnosis to surgery has been less than 2 weeks, so I haven't really had much time to stew about it . Knowing there are prayers headed my way really helps. :)

My thoughts will be with you on the 31st, and after.

Just got a message from b2alicia's friend, and she says the surgery went well and Betty is doing fine. I'll be giving her a call tomorrow to check in, but thought I'd give everyone an update.

Betty, chemo is a whole 'nother ball of wax...please let me know if you need someone to talk to who's been there! Remember:

1) Hoodies! (the back of your neck will get colder than you would have thought possible)

2) Crystal Light Fruit Punch, for the days when drinking another glass of water is beyond your power.

3) Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies. Dove ice cream bars. Kneaders cinnamon rolls. Because you will need moments of pure joy. :)
