I'm Looking to see what people would do on this situation. I have a bathroom that I'm doing some quick updates to. I don't have the time or budget to re-tile.

We are adding substantial trim to the rest of the house. I wanted to add wainscotting (craftsman style) to this bathroom. But I don't know how to handle the 4 1/2" of tile on the wall. My thought was to just cover it with 6" of MDF baseboard and cut out a recess on the back of the wood to keep things flush. But my table saw only has 3 1/2" of depth. So I started considering other options like maybe using a multi-tool to cut out the tile from the wall.

Am I insane?
