What's going on with editing function and text box size???

Houzz will no longer allow me to edit my posts (edit option does not appear on thread). Also, the size of the text box has shrunk to only allow one line of text. I can write more but I can't see it as it disappears below the visible part of the text box. This is a recent development. What's going on?

Hi there, As you type, the box should expand with your comment. Is that not happening for you? Can you tell me what browser and version you are using, so I can try to reproduce the issue?

Thanks Emily. I know, that used to happen (box expanded) but doesn't anymore - starting a few days ago. I'm on an older version of Firefox ( 3.6.10. I'm typing blind right now so better go. can't see what I'm typing.

I'm on a older macbook too, if that helps. Text box doesn't expand beyond that shown in screenshot above.

That definitely could be it. I'm on the current version of Firefox right now and I get the box expanding when I reach the end of the line. Can you try updating your browser and see if that resolves the issue? The current version is actually 19.0.2.

No, my laptop is too old to update to the latest version of firefox. But keep in mind, it worked for at least a year until a few days ago.
