we have several of these pumps in a pond, turtle tank.

we recently had a power outage and lost 2 in that they rattle badly and don't pump.

They're each about 5 yo.

Is the impeller always the issue? Doesn't seem like there is a whole lot to the assembly.

I see refurbed pumps. Anyone had any experience with these?
