QUESTION ABOUT DAYLILY HYBRIDS

This spring I planted my first daylily hybrid seeds gathered from crosses last year. When I planted them out I checked references which suggested 6-8" would be sufficient spacing for this nursery phase. All are doing fine, but my question is: will I need to do any transplanting during the second year to give more space, or will they be OK if I wait till the 3rd year when I can hope to see blooms and know what may be culled or given away? Here's a pic of them as of a few days ago. Thanks in advance!
